The Hunger Games Poster

I have been wanting to do a HG poster since last year. I had bought these midtone papers just for it and they stayed in my drawer for months. What was supposed to be just an easy sketch of Katniss turned out to be real good so I kept on it. Funny thing is I spent 30 minutes max on Katniss and almost a whole day with Peeta. It was so hard trying to capture his likeness. Gale was supposed to be in here but I was so exhausted I just raised the white flag.

I've realized that charcoal is really not for me though. I'm still on the search for the medium that I'm really gonna be comfortable with. I have to try Copic Markers.
